Meet the Attorneys
Joseph E. Burns
Joseph (Joe) E. Burns earned his BS in Banking and Finance from the University of South Carolina in 1976 and went on to build a distinguished 43-year career in banking. He spent nearly two decades at South State Corporation and South State Bank, where he served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer and sat on the Senior Executive Operating Committee.
Tyler Burns
Tyler is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, Class of 2005, and earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2008. After graduating, he joined the 16th Circuit Solicitor's Office in York County, where he prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases, concentrating primarily on driving under the influence offenses.
